The Q-TON is the world’s first two-stage CO2 compressor heat pump, combining rotary and scroll technology for high efficiency even in very low ambient temperatures (down to -25°C). It uses CO2 as a refrigerant, which is environmentally friendly, safe, and highly efficient, providing constant hot water from 60°C to 90°C without needing an external heater.

The Q-TON is ideal for hot water supply in hotels, apartment blocks, restaurants, universities, hospitals, care homes, leisure centres, and laundries. It can produce from 3,000 litres up to 100,000 litres of hot water per day, either as a single unit or scaled up to 16 coupled units, all controllable from a single touch screen or remote panel.

The Q-TON absorbs heat from ambient air using a CO2 refrigerant and a two-stage compressor to efficiently heat water, significantly reducing electricity usage. It has a coefficient of performance (COP) of 4.3, allowing major reductions in running costs and CO2 emissions. The system can also schedule heating during off-peak tariffs and is fully programmable to match hot water demand with electricity costs.
